Motorola’s brand new Motorola Razr 3 or Razr (2022) is one of the most anticipated phones set to be released by the Lenovo-owned brand. This device will be the third generation of foldable devices, and the company is now teasing the device.
After taking a year off from releasing a foldable phone, the parent company, Lenovo, gave a look at the brand new phone at an event. The picture circulating the internet shows Lenovo Mobile China’s GM, Chen Jin holding the new phone.
The pictures are blurry, but they suggest that the phone has rounded corners and a more prominent screen. Therefore, Motorolla accepted the problem of the huge chin on their previous phones and has worked to reduce it.
Accompanying the first picture, a video has been posted on Weibo, a Chinese social media site, of the Motorola Razr 3. This video shows off the large cover display and the dual primary cameras. Furthermore, it also showcases the new hinge that elegantly displays the Motorolla branding.
The teasers show that the earlier reports suggesting significant changes to the Razr 2022, codenamed Maven, were indeed true. Motorola has a brand new cover display that is large enough to house notifications.
Furthermore, the phone will likely have a 2800mAh battery and dual rear cameras. The cameras have a 50MP 1/1.5-inch primary sensor and a 13mp ultrawide sensor. The front camera has an impressive 32 MP for crisp selfies.
This new foldable phone is also expected to run on Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. It will also have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that acts as a power button.
If carried out efficiently, these alleged specs could help make the Razr 3 one of the best foldable phones of the year. However, many more brands are expected to release their next generation of foldable devices. Thus, the Motorola phones may have some tough competition.
