Google Pixel 8 Renders Suggest the Phone Will Have a Relatively Small Form Factor

Through online leaks, the potential design of the Google Pixel 8 has been leaked. These leaks included renders that show off the alleged design of the Pixel 8. The tipster, OnLeaks, collaborated with MySmartPrice to showcase the alleged Pixel 8, which has a unique design. The phone is much smaller than the previous model and has more rounded corners with thinner bezels. This makes the screen look more prominent.

The tipster also points out that the screen of the Pixel 8 will likely be 5.8 inches, making it significantly smaller than the 6.3-inch display found on the Pixel 7. A smaller display and thinner bezels may make the phone more compact and easy, allowing users to use it with one hand, possibly making it one of the best small phones on the market. The phone will likely be 12mm thick, 150.5 x 70.8 x 8.9mm.

The renders of the Pixel 8 show off a dual camera, which comes as a surprise as the renders of the Pixel 8 Pro showed off triple cameras, including a telephoto lens. It looks like the company may be ditching the telephoto lens for their Pixel 8 phones. Like its predecessors, users will notice a single camera cutout aided by the LED flash positioned right next to it. However, the mysterious 8 Pro sensor does not appear in these renders.

The current renders of the Pixel 8 and the Pixel 8 Pro indicate that Google plans to make some significant design changes to its phones by making them smaller and adjusting the bezels. However, it is unsure how much the phone’s internals will change. According to rumors, Google plans to use their next-gen Tensor G3 chipset developed by Samsung. It was also revealed that the Pixel 8 is rumored to be codenamed “shiba.”

For more information about these phones, customers will have to wait till the Google I/O 2023, when these phones are expected to be showcased alongside other Pixel devices, such as the Pixel 7a and the much-awaited Google Pixel Fold. Till now, these renders are the only reference customers have to what the next Google Pixel series will look like.
