ASUS plans on releasing its new flagship phone, the Zenfone 10, on June 29th, before the official launch. This news was shared by Evan Blass, who revealed some accurate pictures of the phone’s design and color options.
As confirmed by ASUS, the Zenfone 10 will continue with the compact design of its predecessor, the Zenfone 9. This means it will be another small Android phone, which is excellent news for fans who prefer more compact devices at a time when phones are getting bigger.
The overall look of the Zenfone 10 is quite similar to the previous model, with a few minor differences. The front has a slightly smaller chin, and the camera placements on the front and back are similar to the Zenfone 9.
The pictures shared by Blass also suggest that the Zenfone 10 will come in new color options, including a sea green color as well as bright red and other darker colors seen in the Zenfone 9.
The phone will have squared-off edges and rounded corners. Customers will find the volume rockers and power buttons on the right side. It is also likely that the power button will also serve as a fingerprint sensor for authentication.
About a week ago, ASUS released an official teaser for the Zenfone 10 launch, confirming the launch date and providing some details of what to expect. This was to help generate hype around the phone in an already competitive smartphone market.
According to the Zenfone 10 launch page, the phone will come with several improvements compared to the Zenfone 9. One notable feature is the six-axis “Hybrid Gimbal Stabilizer 2.0,” which helps keep videos stable during recording. In addition to the compact design and new color options, the Zenfone 10 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It will also support wireless charging, which was missing in the Zenfone 9. The display size will remain the same at 5.9 inches.
Earlier leaks accidentally revealed the price of the Zenfone 10 back in May. It was priced at $749, according to a website set up by ASUS for a blind camera test of the upcoming phone. This price seems reasonable for the features offered by the Zenfone 10.
