Sony has started taking pre-orders for the upcoming Deep Earth Collection, which will include PS5 controllers and console covers in the colors Sterling Silver, Volcanic Red, and Cobalt Blue. Sony, which is renowned for often releasing new designs, deciding to reveal these colors is welcomed news for gamers. The gaming world has been eagerly awaiting more details on the availability of these improvements, which are scheduled to be released in late 2023 and early 2024.
Current players have embraced the idea of console customization, with gaming companies providing a variety of official and economically viable solutions. Users feel there is potential for even more variation, despite the fact that Sony has been active in introducing various color schemes and designs for its contemporary systems. Many fans have created their own original color schemes in the hopes that Sony may offer more options. However, there is good news on the horizon as a new set of color possibilities will soon be available on the market, giving players more customization options.
Pre-orders for the PS5’s Deep Earth Collection are now available, and a new palette of colors for DualSense controllers and system covers has been introduced, according to the PlayStation Blog. Through the PlayStation Store and a few stores, gamers in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Portugal can take advantage of this promotion. On the same day, limited pre-order access will also be made available in a few international regions. Volcanic Red, Cobalt Blue, and Sterling Silver are the colors that are accessible for both controller and cover pre-orders. Notably, on November 3, Volcanic Red and Cobalt Blue will be available for purchase, followed on January 26 by Sterling Silver.
The new color choices have a clean, classy look. They strike the right balance between aesthetics and subtly, providing a shiny sheen without being overtly dazzling. They might not have the artistic flair of unique designs like the LeBron James PS5 controller and cover or the Japan-only limited edition Final Fantasy 16 offers, but they give the console and its accessories a more modest and sophisticated look. These colour possibilities only make up a small portion of the publicly available customization options right now.
