ASUS unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the ASUS Zenfone 10, during its “Mighty On Hand” live stream event. This compact device packs a range of high-end features that make it stand out in the market.
The Zenfone 10 boasts a unique 5.9-inch display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring seamless interactions. It also features a Game Genie feature that enables an even higher refresh rate of 144Hz, enhancing the mobile gaming experience.
To ensure durability, the Zenfone 10 incorporates Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, offering robust protection against everyday wear and tear. Additionally, the device is IP68 water-resistant, providing protection against water and dust ingress.
The camera setup on the Zenfone 10 is a notable upgrade from its predecessor. It includes a powerful 50 MP main camera and a 13MP ultrawide lens, capturing high-resolution images with a wider field of view. There is also a 32MP hole-punch selfie camera on the front, which delivers immersive visual experiences.
ASUS has taken camera stabilization to the next level with the Zenfone 10. It features the 6-Axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilizer 2.0, delivering smoother videos and shake-free photos. The device also utilizes adaptive Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) for stable footage during video recording.
The Zenfone 10 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, offering a 15% increase in CPU performance, 20% improvement in GPU performance, and 15% better battery efficiency. On the inside it has a 4,300mAh battery with optimized power usage and supports 30W wired and 15W wireless charging.
ASUS introduces ZenTouch 2.0 on the Zenfone 10, enhancing user accessibility and control. This feature enables users to access various shortcuts and controls by utilizing the side of their phone. ZenTouch 2.0 allows users to conveniently unlock their phone, control video playback, and access other features through the new Edge Tool control panel.
The Zenfone 10 comes in a variety of attractive colors, including red, black, blue, green, and white. Users can choose from three RAM/internal storage configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, or a higher-end option with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. As for pricing and availability in the U.S., ASUS has not provided specific details yet. However, in Europe, the Zenfone 10 is priced at €799, €849, and €929 for the respective configurations.
