Google Pixel 7a Real-Life Images Show Off Cool Packaging and New Colors

Despite the Google I/O event being less than a month away, leaks for various devices expected to be unveiled are running rampant online. The latest reveal shows off the new phone in its retail packaging showing off the most compelling colorways. The leaks came from SnoopyTech, who shared images of the new device on Friday, which showed off the new Pixel 7a inside its packaging.

The first thing customers noticed was the new colors of the Pixel 7a. If the images are accurate, the new phone will come in a standard black/gray color and in a new light blue hue. It is unclear what the blue color will be called. Some reports suggest the name Arctic, while others call it Sky. The color is reminiscent of the Pixel 4a, which was called Barely Blue because of how light it looks in live images compared to renders. However, it is possible that the color change could be due to lighting.

The new phone’s color has been extensively discussed as the release date inches closer. The blue color is the fourth colorway that has popped up online, which is already more than what Google offers with their Pixel A-series phone. Some also suggest that the phone may be released in a coral color exclusive to Google, which is why it has not yet been revealed.

The Google Pixel 7a has been the subject of many leaks, which have revealed many specs and pricing of the phone. However, all of them are purely speculation, and official specs will be announced at the Google I/O 2023 event. Leaks suggest that the phone will feature a Tensor G2 chip with 8GB RAM, a 64 MP dual camera setup, and a 90 Hz display. The phone is expected to cost $499, which is only $50 more than last year’s Pixel 6a.

The official launch of the phone will happen at the Google event. Still, from the leaked information, the Pixel 7a is shaping up to be an impressive mid-range Android phone.
