More Motorola Razr 2023 Leaks - The Phone May Be Called the Razr Plus 2023

There has been an array of foldable phones in 2023, and Motorola is not far behind because it may be releasing a brand-new and much-anticipated flip phone this year. The company has already created hype by confirming that it will release its brand-new foldable phone very soon. Although there have been leaks, the reports and leaks seem to have been getting the name wrong. According to MySmartPrice, Motorola’s next foldable phone may have a Plus in its name.

Therefore, it is likely that the phone will be called the Motorola Razr Plus 2023. However, this revelation has had many wondering what the Plus in the name means. The best guess anyone has is that the Plus refers to the large cover screen that is present in the leaked renders. These images suggest that the phone is expected to have a large cover screen larger than Oppo Find N2 Flip’s 3.26-inch panel. The photos indicate that this screen will take up almost all of the phone’s cover panel and even encompass the dual camera lenses.

However, the one this Plus could not be referring to is the phone’s battery. It is rumored that the Razr Plus 2023 may have a smaller battery than its predecessor at just 2850mAh. This is smaller than many of the best foldable phones out there, such as the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Razr 2022, meaning it will have a hard time catching up to other phones. Despite the phone’s larger cover screen, the company’s decision to make the battery smaller does not make sense.

This small battery is paired with 30W wired charging, but there has been no word on whether or not the phone will support wireless charging. These reports are quite credible because the phone’s model number XT2321 matches previous reports.

The last piece of revealed information claims that the phone will have an under-display selfie camera, which will be placed on the internal folding display. This clarifies the lack of a selfie camera in the renders. Although this is not unheard of, this claim is purely speculation. Samsung has also done so for its larger Galaxy Z Fold 4.

For now, these rumors are not confirmed, so customers will have to wait for Motorola to release official details regarding their new foldable.
