The Moto X40 Officially Launches With the Newest Qualcomm Chip

After many leaks and rumors, Motorola has launched three smartphones for the Chinese market. Of these three, two are entirely new devices, while the third is a limited-edition smartphone. The two new phones consist of the Moto X40 and the MotoG53, while the limited edition phone is a Pantone edition of the Moto S30 Pro.

The Moto X40 undoubtedly is the star of the show. It is a new flagship smartphone powered using the best Qualcomm chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. In terms of design, the phone is similar to others from the company. It has rounded corners, a slim form factor, and a punch-hole display. On the rear of the phone, there is a significant camera module.

The phone’s screen is a 6.7-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate. The phone also comes with HDR10+ certification and also supports DC Dimming. Additionally, the Moto X40 is also IP68 water resistant and has an AG 2.0 coating on the rear of the phone. This makes it an extremely durable phone.

On the rear of the phone is a triple camera set up with a 50 MP primary camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP portrait camera. The 50 MP ultra-wide camera is also designed to act as a macro camera. If you want to take selfies with this phone, you can easily do so using the 60MP selfie shooter on the front.

The Moto G53 was also released alongside the Moto X40 Pro. This phone is a budget smartphone powered by a Snapdragon 480+SoC. The phone will support 5G and have a 6.5-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The Moto G53 has a dual camera on the back, with a 50 MP primary camera and a 2MP macro lens. The selfie camera comprises an 8 MP sensor.

The Moto G53 will ship with a 5000mAh battery and 18W fast charging. Additionally, it comes with 128GB of internal storage, but you can expand it up to 1TB if you wish.

The third phone to be released in this launch is the Moto S30 Pro Pantone. This phone comes in a gorgeous Magenta color, highlighting the Pantone color of 2023.
