New Renders of the Alleged Motorola Razr 2023 Reveal a Massive Cover Display

The foldable phone market is ever-expanding, with many companies jumping on the trend. Companies such as Huawei, Honor, and OPPO have all released foldable phones. It seems like Motorola is not far behind, as rumors suggest a Motorola Razr 2023 is in the works. The company launched the Motorola Razr 2022 last year, and with leaked renders, Motorola may have another device up its sleeves. These renders show off a unique, relatively large cover display for the alleged device.

The images were posted by The Tech Outlook, which they received from an internal source. These images revealed a clamshell foldable device with a large outer screen that takes up much of the outer cover when folded. Compared to Motorola Razr 2022’s 2.7-inch display, that one seems much larger. Many think it may be even larger than the cover screen on the OPPO Find N2, 2.36 inches.

The renders show the display extending beyond the cameras with a section on the side that seems to be dedicated to notifications. The device is allegedly code-named Juno, which was previously revealed to be one of the two Razr-branded phones that Motorola planned to release this year. Apart from the massive cover display, the Motorola Razr 2023 looks very similar to its 2022 predecessor.

Another leaker, Evan Blass, also posted images of the device that also include the large display, which corroborates the previous leak. In one of the images, he pointed out that the navigation buttons are seemingly arranged in the corner alongside the notifications, which is also something visible in The Tech Outlook’s images. However, these rumors should not be taken too seriously as the renders do not show any internal selfie camera.

The launch date and specs of the Motorola Razr 2023 are still under wraps, but Motorola will likely equip the phone with the best Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The battery will also hopefully be larger to power the larger display. Whenever the phone launches, it will have serious competition as many great foldable phones are on the market, including the OPPO Find N2 Flip and the alleged Galaxy Z Flip 5.
