According to reports from 91Mobile based on information gained from OnLeaks, Sony may be working on a new line of gaming headphones different from the PlayStation branded Sony Pulse headphones. The new headsets will have three variants and be part of a brand new gaming hardware brand from Sony. This new brand is allegedly called Inzone.
There have been leaked images that show that the three headphones have a similar color scheme to the Pulse headsets, which are black and white. One of the headsets, the H3, is wired and has a USB-C port and a physical volume dial.
It has further been revealed that this new line of headsets is a part of the H-series. They are also expected to be noise-canceling headsets, as the renders depict a button marked NC/AMB. This piece of hardware also suggests that the headphones may have an ambient audio mode, allowing players to be aware of their surroundings and hear what is going on around them.
The other two headsets, named H7 and H9, are wireless and can connect to your computer using either Bluetooth or a USB dongle. Of the two, the H9 is the superior one, as it features noise cancellation.
All three of these headsets will support 360-degree spatial audio, which is an ideal feature to have on gaming headsets. The leaks did not reveal the platforms that the headset will support. It is most likely that they, like the Sony Pulse headsets, will work on PC and the PS5.
However, separate reports suggest that the headphones may not be the only device Sony may be launching under the Inzone brand. Some reports claim that Sony may be working to have a large lineup of gaming accessories set to release under Inzone. It may include a pair of gaming displays. One display is reported to have a 4K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz, and the other with a 240Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution.
