Nothing Details Camera Improvements for Their Phone (1)

After the release of the Nothing Phone (1), the brand has been fine dunning the dual-real camera setup through updates. Now, they are detailing all that they have been working on and how the camera has changed since the launch.

Through their official blog, they detailed that they have worked to improve the performance of their 50MP camera. Reportedly, the latest 1.1.4 OS update has made the most improvement. All of the updates since OS version 1.1.1 have sought to make human skin appear more natural in the front-facing cameras.

When users take night shots, the pictures are much clearer thanks to the camera’s low-light HDR. This feature allows the camera to take faster, sharper, and more ultra-wide images. The true-to-life night shots also have better color accuracy. Pictures taken from this Phone are naturally bright and clear when using the front camera.

Nothing also notes that when the Phone (1) is used to take outdoor shots, the pictures appear sharper with its multi-frame HDR. The brand has also worked to ensure no odd images, regardless of which camera you use. Instead, all the colors remain accurate and even throughout.

The Nothing Phone features excellent cameras. On the rear of the Phone is a 50MP dual camera that uses Sony’s IMX766 sensor. Although the cameras took great pictures on launch, Nothing has improved them greatly through their software updates. The 1.1.3 OS patch has had the most camera improvements since July.

These updates have also included other improvements, including fixing bugs. Stuttering apps, like Play Store and Twitter, were fixed. The UI has also been polished by making minor changes throughout.

The updates also included minor tweaks, such as reminding the user to clean the lenses, automatically adjusting color and brightness on pictures taken with the Glyph interface, etc.
