Nothing Phone (2): Leaked Press Renders Give a Closer Look at the Device

The excitement surrounding the upcoming Nothing Phone (2) continues to grow with the emergence of new leaked renders. Evan Blass, a well-known tipster on Twitter, shared alleged press renders of the Nothing Phone (2), offering a closer look at the device’s design changes. The latest leaks showcase a significantly different phone design compared to previous leaks.

One noticeable change is the centered punch-hole selfie camera on the Phone (2). The renders also reveal physical buttons for the volume keys and power button, positioned on the left and right sides of the device, respectively. The leaked renders also show a redesign of the rear panel with a Glyph lighting system different from the Phone’s (1). Furthermore, it appears that Nothing has implemented a slight curvature to the device’s back panel.

These leaked renders provide enthusiasts with a glimpse of the anticipated design elements of the Nothing Phone (2), heightening the expectation for its official unveiling. These elements align with the details revealed in a hands-on video from yesterday. The video provided a clear view of the device’s 6.7-inch display and showcased the revamped Glyph lighting system on the rear panel.

According to the video, Nothing has upgraded the Glyph lighting system, increasing the number of LED zones from 12 in the Phone (1) to 33 in the Phone (2). This enhancement allows for more customization options, enabling users to utilize the LED strip for various purposes, such as displaying charging progress and more.

Indirect hints about the front of the device were provided through snapshots of the home screen shared by Nothing CEO Carl Pei and others. These snapshots revealed the upcoming 2.0 OS and showcased how Nothing intends to promote productivity and fun. The placement of the clock in the top row further confirms the presence of a centered selfie camera.

Regarding internal specifications, the Nothing Phone (2) is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform and a 4,500mAh battery. Additionally, Nothing may introduce exclusive phone features in the future.

The Nothing Phone (2) official launch is scheduled for July 11, building up anticipation for the device’s unveiling and subsequent availability.
