OnePlus Ace 2 - Specs Leak Online

The upcoming OnePlus Ace 2’s specifications have leaked online, giving customers a look at what to expect from the new phone. These leaks were tweeted by Yogesh Brar, who claims that the Ace 2 is rumored to include a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display.

On the phone’s rear, you will likely find a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary lens. Alongside the main lens, there will also be two secondary cameras, including an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro camera. If you want to take selfies with your phone, then there is rumored to be a 16MP lens on the front.

On the inside, the phone is expected to feature last year’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. Brar also hinted at some numbers pertaining to the RAM and internal storage of the upcoming device. He suggests that the RAM sizes may vary from 8GB to 16 GB, and there may also be a 12GB variant. However, storage will most likely be either 128 GB or 256 GB.

The leakers also hinted that the phone might contain a large 5000mAh battery and 100W charging, which means longer battery life and quick charging. Users will also likely see the phone loaded with Android 13 right out of the box.

The Ace 2 is a successor to the Oneplus Ace, which was released earlier this year during spring. The company has made significant changes to the device because the Ace used Mediatek’s Dimensity 8100 Maz chipset. With the new Snapdragon, the Ace 2 will most likely be a more powerful phone. However, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is now an older chip because of the newly released Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

The screen size of the Ace 2 is almost identical to the original. Still, the battery and charging are where the difference becomes apparent. The original OnePlus Ace contained a 4500mAh battery with 150W fast charging support. Therefore, the company has increased the battery size while reducing the charging wattage. The OnePlus Ace could reach 50% charge within 5 minutes, and the Ace 2 will likely have a similar charging time.

However, the charging capabilities of this device are unclear. Only an on-hand test will determine whether or not the company upgraded its battery life and charging time or downgraded it.
