OPPO Find N3 Flip

The Chinese smartphone giant, OPPO, is currently working on its next clamshell foldable device, and some initial details about it have surfaced online. 91Mobiles found a leaked render of the alleged OPPO Find N3 Flip, which is an early “EVT prototype.”

In terms of design, it seems that OPPO isn’t planning to make significant changes to the appearance of the foldable, which is not necessarily a negative thing. However, according to rumors, one notable change is the addition of a triple camera setup, which would be a first for this type of form factor.

Reportedly, the Find N3 Flip might sport a 50 MP Sony IMX890 primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP telephoto lens. These camera specifications are similar to those of the Find N2 Flip, with the notable inclusion of a telephoto lens that matches the sensor found in the Reno 10 Pro.

The leaked render indicates that OPPO’s collaboration with Hasselblad continues, which is a positive development. According to information from an anonymous source cited by 91Mobiles, most of the other specifications of the Find N3 Flip are likely to be the same as its predecessor.

If the specifications remain largely unchanged, the Find N3 Flip could offer a 6.8-inch internal display with a 120Hz refresh rate, similar to the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5. However, it may not provide the same level of immersion as the Motorola Razr+, with its external display measuring 3.26 inches.

The previous model, the Find N2 Flip, featured MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000+ mobile platform, and potential customers were disappointed to hear rumors suggesting that the Find N3 Flip may stick to the same internal specifications, especially when newer MediaTek chips like the Dimensity 9200+ are available. Nonetheless, customers will only know once the official confirmation comes about the device.

The previous OPPO clamshell foldable, the Find N2 Flip, boasted a notable 4,300mAh battery, larger than other clamshell foldables. While limited information is currently available about the upcoming foldable device, it is anticipated to be released before the end of the year. As more details emerge, we will better understand its features and specifications.
