With the brand new OnePlus 11 set to launch first in China this week, it is an exciting week for OnePlus. The teaser for this phone was released last week, which teased a new camera setup. Previously, the company also confirmed that the phone would be shipped with the most powerful Qualcomm chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. However, with their flagship series, OnePlus also tend to launch a mid-range device.
During their previous launch with the OnePlus 10 Pro, the company launched the OnePlus R or the OnePlus Ace. Customers expect the company to continue with its tradition and release the OnePlus 11R too. Before this device could be unveiled to the public, renders of it started popping up on the internet. These renders were also accompanied by rumored specifications, which gave customers an idea about what to expect from this new device.
New leaks come from tipster Yogesh Brar who has revealed real-life images of the OnePlus 11R. These images show the phone enclosed in a hard case. A closer look at the phone shows it has a centered punch-hole camera and slightly curved edges. These features are somewhat unusual for a mid-range device.
Corroborating earlier leaks, many noticed that the pictures hinted at a triple camera rear setup alongside an IR blaster on the top. The images also showed off the Alert Slider, which seems to be making a comeback. On the bottom of the OnePlus 11R is a USB Type-C port and a speaker grille, and unfortunately, there is no headphone jack.
This phone is expected to come with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC alongside 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The screen of this mid-range phone will most likely be a 120Hx refresh rate display. The cameras in the back are expected to have a 50MP primary sensor coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP macro camera.
In terms of battery, the OnePlus 11R could come with a 5000mAh battery and 100W charging support. This means that the battery will last longer and will be quick to charge, so you can easily use your phone for longer.
Some specs of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 were also leaked. In terms of appearance, they look identical to their predecessor, the OnePlus Buds Pro. However, they come in an additional green color in addition to the traditional black and white.
