Xiaomi 13 Pro Finally Gets a Launch - Impressive Cameras, Better Charging, and a Brand New Chip

After many leaks, Xiaomi has officially revealed their 13 and 13 Pro flagship phones. The company looks to improve user experience by using upgraded technology, which is evident from the specs of this phone. With the announcement, the Chinese OEM has also released all the phone details. The Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro has a minimalistic design with a double-curved screen and a ceramic body.

The double curved display is Xiaomi’s 6.73-inch AMOLED 120Hz display. The 13 Pro’s screen is even more impressive as it offers 1920 Hz PWM dimming. At full brightness, the screen can reach 1900 nits. The phone’s cameras are as remarkable as ever since its predecessors also used a 50MP camera array. However, Xiaomi has opted for Leica professional optics on these new phones, which was previously only used on the Xiaomi 12S Ultra

These lenses will allow users to take high-resolution pictures without any flaws. The 50 MP shooters on the back of the Pro model are 1-inch-type-ultra-large Sony IMX989 sensors, which consist of 8 aspherical lenses. The camera array also includes 50 MP ultra-wide and telephoto lenses.

Both phones in the lineup are powered by the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform, which allows the phone to run much smoother. According to Xiaomi, the chip improves the device’s performance by 37%. It also reduces its power consumption by 47%, making the device much more efficient. The new Adreno GPU also helps improve the phone’s performance by 42% and lowers power consumption by 49%.

The 13 Pro model issues Xiaomi’s Surge charging chip, which allows you to use the 4820mAh battery much longer when connected to its Surge Battery management. The phone is also capable of 120 W wired and 50 W wireless charging, which means it will charge much quicker and last longer.

The phone is expected to be delivered in four colors: white, black Mountain blur, and Flora Green. There are many RAM/internal storage options also available. You can choose between 8GB RAM/128GB storage, 8GB RAM/256GB storage, 12GB RAM/256GB storage, and 12GB RAM /512GB storage.
